SAFETY IN USE OF ABRASIVE WHEELS
COURSE DURATION: half day (up to 5 delegates)
This course is designed to provide delegates with an understanding of the legal requirements and correct practices/procedures in relation to Abrasive Wheels.
KEY AREAS: Accidents, causes and prevention, removal of wheels, selection, testing and mounting of new wheels, resetting rests and guards, dressing with correct equipment, inspection and testing, tool hire reporting and documentation.
By the end of the course, delegates will be able to:

- Demonstrate knowledge and practical application
- Store and handle Abrasive Wheels & equipment correctly
- Examine and test wheels for damage
- Set & dress wheels
